Passionate, blood-boiling, sensual - a celebration of Romanian love, inspired by the charming poem of Ion Minulescu, "Celei care minte". Emphatic and full of red carnations, direct and visual, it reminded me of wa way to love through actual feelings, not concepts, almost painting itself with every verse.
Romanian inspiration shouldn't lie only in folklore or traditional garments, so this illustration marks my desire to illustrate every year a Romanian literary fragment depicting love, some of whom we forgot or maybe never read.
